Update of ‘The Oval’ Area
The Hall Committee has decided to rehabilitate the area known as ‘The Oval’. There has been a lot of cutting and clearing of the space and it will be seeded in the near future. We are working towards having the oval ready for community use a bit later in the year. It would be absolutely wonderful to see families using this space to kick a football, ride their bikes, picnic, etc.! The fire tracks (or walking tracks are they are called) must be kept clear of vegetation and accessible to fire vehicles. Periodically they are disked or cleared to kill any vegetation growing on the path. This has happened just recently. The paths were also rolled and are ready once more for walkers. Please enjoy!
Hall Window Update
The first window has been beautifully restored and is now back in place. It was crucial to have this done before the rains started as water was coming through the gaps and damaging the inside wall of The Hall!

We were also successful in our application for a Community Facilities Grant from CoA. The City is matching our contribution to have the outside of the three southern windows repaired and re-painted and the external wall re-painted too! Work will begin soon.
